Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Management and Economics, Dr. Hussein Falah Ward, and the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, Assistant Professor Latif Abdul Ridha Atiya, the College of Management and Economics carried out a voluntary humanitarian initiative at an orphanage in Diwaniya. The initiative was participated in by some heads of scientific departments in our college, as well as a number of lecturers and students from the first and second stages of the evening study program in the Business Administration department.

Several gifts and clothing were presented to our orphaned fathers, especially as we approach the blessed Eid al-Fitr. May Allah bring it back to everyone with goodness, blessings, and prosperity. This initiative is part of the efforts made by our college from time to time to connect with various sectors of society, to work on extending bridges of love and affection between our educational institution and our orphaned children. This is the least that can be offered to them after losing their support. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said, “I and the sponsor of an orphan are like these two,” pointing to his index and middle fingers, indicating the virtue And that its owner will have a great reward, and that he is close to the status of the Prophet, peace be upon him, in Paradise. May Allah place this act in the balance of good deeds for those who initiated this kind initiative. Allah is the Guide.of sponsoring an orphan.
